Okay. Sorry for all of you who don’t know these guys or don’t like them - what am I even talking about. NOT EVEN SORRY!! They are far too awesome.
So, this is an impression of one of the bloody best concerts I have seen of them. In a hasty-build impro stage in the backstage area because the main stage nearly crashed (bad weather indeed xD) - it is of one of m favourite songs to which they additionally composed a piano part some time ago. There are very few better things in the world!!!
If you can’t tell that they are fucking clever musician after this you are probably deaf. Also the slow part is different evertime because they fucking improvise it - just look at their faces ;)But my favourite part of this version will always be the point when it gets from nice and gently to bloody awesome and heavy - let the madness go forth!!
I wish I had seen Bastille yesterday on my first Coppelius concert. He’s sick and couldn’t be there… But somehow the other guys managed to make it freakin’ awesome anyways. WHOA.
